Return, Refund & Replacement Policy

1. Nature of Agricultural Products

Seeds are living agricultural products whose performance depends on several factors beyond our control, including:

  • Weather and climate
  • Irrigation practices
  • Storage conditions
  • Sowing methods
  • Pest and disease management
  • Farming techniques

Therefore, crop performance, yield, flowering, fruiting, or germination results may vary from one location to another.

2. Products Eligible for Return or Replacement

A return or replacement request may be considered only if:

  • Wrong Product Delivered: The product delivered does not match the item ordered.
  • Damaged Product Received: The package or product is significantly damaged during transit.
  • Missing Items: An item is missing from the delivered order.
  • Manufacturing Defect: The product appears to have a verifiable manufacturing or packaging defect before use.

3. Reporting an Issue

Customers must report any issue within 48 hours of delivery. To process a claim, customers may be required to provide:

  • Order number
  • Customer name
  • Clear photographs of the product
  • Images of the packaging
  • Description of the issue

Claims submitted after the reporting period may not be eligible for review.

4. Non-Returnable Products

For hygiene, quality control, and agricultural integrity reasons, the following items cannot be returned:

  • Opened seed packets
  • Used products
  • Partially consumed products
  • Products damaged after delivery
  • Products stored improperly by the customer
  • Products affected by weather, pests, diseases, or cultivation practices
  • Clearance or promotional items (unless damaged or incorrect)

5. Germination & Crop Performance Disclaimer

While Rangamati Seeds takes every reasonable measure to ensure product quality, we do not guarantee:

  • 100% germination
  • Specific crop yield
  • Plant growth performance
  • Flowering or fruiting results
  • Resistance to local environmental conditions

Seed performance depends on numerous external factors beyond our control.

As a result, returns, refunds, or compensation requests based solely on germination percentage, crop yield, plant performance, or cultivation outcomes will not be accepted.

6. Replacement Policy

If a claim is approved after verification, we may provide:

  • Product replacement, or
  • Store credit, or
  • Refund, depending on the nature of the issue and product availability.

The decision regarding the appropriate resolution shall remain at the sole discretion of Rangamati Seeds.

7. Refund Policy

  • Approved refunds will be processed only after claim verification.
  • Refunds will be issued through the original payment method used during purchase.
  • Refund processing may take 7–10 business days after approval, depending on banking and payment gateway timelines.

8. Order Cancellation

Before Dispatch

  • Orders may be cancelled before shipment dispatch.
  • If payment has already been made, a refund will be processed according to our refund timelines.

After Dispatch

  • Once an order has been shipped, cancellation requests cannot be accepted.
  • Customers may contact support for assistance if exceptional circumstances arise.

9. Refusal of Claims

Rangamati Seeds reserves the right to reject any claim if:

  • Insufficient evidence is provided.
  • The complaint is reported after the specified timeframe.
  • The product has been used, opened, or altered.
  • Damage occurred after delivery.
  • The issue relates to farming practices, environmental conditions, or factors beyond product quality.

10. Domestic Orders

Return, replacement, and refund requests for domestic orders will be reviewed according to this policy and applicable consumer protection regulations.

11. International Orders

Currently, direct international customer (D2C) orders are not available.

For international B2B transactions, return, replacement, and refund terms will be governed by the specific agreement established between Rangamati Seeds and the buyer before order confirmation.
